Business
Is the company getting stronger, not just bigger? · 4 findings−21 of −30
- −9MarginAdjusted EBITA only 2.9m EUR in H1 2026 (1.6% of revenue) and operating result 0.5m (0.3%); full-year 2025 gave 7.0m in adjusted EBITA on approx. 346m (2.0%).
- −4Quality of growthRevenue rose only 0.4% in H1 2026 (EUR 174.2m); cleaning and support in Finland fell 7%, while Sweden (+9%) and technical services (+5%) grew.
- −4MoatLabour-intensive, tender-based services where the company itself describes the Finnish market as marked by intense price competition and customers with savings programmes. Competitors such as ISS, Coor and SOL have greater scale.
- −4The Swedish businessFacility services in Sweden has been loss-making for several years: L&T took write-downs and provisions of about EUR 28m in 2024, and Sweden still posted a loss in Q2 2026 (new Sweden head from 5/8/2026).
Price
Today's multiples against the company's own history and its peers. · 2 findings−6 of −35
- −4Multiples vs peersEV about EUR 77m versus adjusted EBITA 2026e of just over 7m = about 10–11x, and P/E 2026e about 12 – for a business with no growth and a margin below 2%. EV/revenue of 0.22 looks cheap, but Coor and ISS earn a 4–6% EBITA margin.
- −2FCF yieldOperating cash flow after investments was −EUR 1.3m in H1 2026; a genuinely positive FCF yield for the continuing business is not documented.
Cracks
Cash flow, customers, debt, insiders, guidance and what sits behind the headline numbers. · 3 findings−11 of −35
- −6Negative profit warningOutlook for 2026 lowered on 11/9-2026: adjusted EBITA is now expected only to exceed 2025 (EUR 7.0m) instead of rising 'significantly', because Finnish cleaning continues to lose revenue.
- −3Liquidity and working capitalCash fell to 3.9m EUR (30 Jun) from 17.5m in Q1; current ratio 0.84, trade payables 68.6m and interest cover of only 1.7.
- −2RestructuringApprox. 70 employees are or will be made redundant and approx. 100 temporarily sent home for up to 30 days in H2 2026 - costs and risk of quality problems and customer losses.
Plus
Only documented strengths. · 2 findings+3 of +15
- +2Low debtNo bank debt as of 30 Jun 2026 (5m EUR repaid in Q2); debt consists of leases of 13.2m EUR, net debt approx. 9m = under 1x EBITDA.
- +1Insider buyingCEO Antti Niitynpää bought shares on 16/6-2026 (according to the Inderes forum approx. 5,300 shares); a small amount, but an open-market purchase.
Caveats
What the score does not capture, or where the data is weak.
Luotea is the former Lassila & Tikanoja (L&T), where the circular economy business was spun off as the new L&T on 31 Dec 2025; Luotea kept facility services. Stockanalysis' price history (-83% in a year) and TTM figures (net income EUR 149.7m, FCF 43.3m, P/FCF 1.6) are distorted by the spin-off and must not be used; there is no comparable multiple history before 2026. EPS 2026e (EUR 0.15) is from stockanalysis' consensus (2 analysts) and may not have been updated after the profit warning on 11 Sep 2026. Industry: facility services (cleaning, property management, technical services) is not on the list; 'Construction & materials' is the closest.
