Business
Is the company getting stronger, not just bigger? · 4 findings−30 of −30
- −13MarginNegative gross margin (gross loss USD 4.7m TTM on revenue of 2.8m) and operating loss of 23m. Adjusted EBITDA −5.1m in Q2 2026 (−3.9m a year earlier).
- −8Quality of growthRevenue has fallen four years in a row: 7.3m (2022), 6.0, 4.7, 3.4 (2025) and 2.8m TTM. Q2 2026 was 0.58m (-54%). The old manufacturing business is shrinking before the satellite and data services have taken over.
- −5Capital allocationThe share count has risen 336% over a year, and the price corresponds to USD 1,052 at end-2021 adjusted for reverse splits. The 2026 issues (USD 4.35 and 5.08) were, however, done at high prices and gave a large cash pile.
- −4MoatThe LizzieSat platform and the Fortis VPX computer are its own products, but the market for small satellites and space computers is crowded with larger players (Lockheed/Terran Orbital, York Space, Apex, Aitech, Moog), and Sidus has not yet won large commercial volume contracts.
Price
Today's multiples against the company's own history and its peers. · 1 finding−2 of −35
- −2Multiples vs own history and peersP/B 0.97 vs 4.05 (2025), 2.05 (2024) and 1.21 (2023), and EV is only approx. USD 18m (EV/Sales 6.3 vs 60 in 2025). Cheap vs the history because cash dominates, but the cash is earmarked for the constellation.
Cracks
Cash flow, customers, debt, insiders, guidance and what sits behind the headline numbers. · 4 findings−17 of −35
- −5Launch delayLizzieSat-5 has been moved from Transporter-18 (October 2026) to Bandwagon-6 together with LizzieSat-4, April 2027 at the earliest, to extend the qualification testing of Fortis VPX. This postpones flight heritage and data services by about half a year.
- −6DilutionTwo directed issues in April (13.45m shares at USD 4.35) and May (19.7m at USD 5.08) plus placement agent warrants (672,685 at USD 5.44). The share count has risen from about 23m to 101m over a year, and the history of reverse splits makes more issues likely.
- −3Governance and CFO changeCEO and founder Carol Craig holds B shares with enhanced voting rights (A shares make up 101.13 of 101.23m shares; insider ownership in A shares only 0.1%). New CFO Alan Khalili 27/7-2026.
- −3Capital consumption riskManagement is shifting from demonstrations to 'commercial scaling' and has USD 166m to spend on satellites and Fortis production without a documented order book or guidance. The risk is that cash is burned on capacity before demand.
Plus
Only documented strengths. · 1 finding+4 of +15
- +4Net cashCash of USD 166.5m at 30/6-2026 and no debt, equal to approx. USD 1.63 per share vs a price of 1.81 (approx. 90% of market cap).
Caveats
What the score does not capture, or where the data is weak.
Market cap USD 183m (≈DKK 1,206m) at 2/10-2026 vs Nordnet's DKK 1,339m at 1/10. No analysts at stockanalysis (forecast 404). Cash (166.5m at 30/6) is before Q3 burn and any satellite investments. The voting weight of the CEO's B shares and older warrants from the 2024-2025 issues is not verified. Contract details (NGA IDIQ via the Solis team, NASA SBIR) were only seen in search results and not scored as a plus.
