Bull case
The 2026 assays extend the Creek zone with more intervals such as 81 m at 4.8 g/t, and the resource estimate in Q1 2027 lands at 1–1.5m oz of gold. With gold at a high level and juniors trading at C$30–60/oz in the ground, JD could be worth C$50–90m extra, and a takeover by a larger producer in the district would give 2–4x from C$49m.
Bear case
The assays show scattered, narrow zones, the resource estimate ends up small (under 0.5m oz), and the company has to raise C$8–10m in 2027 at C$0.07–0.10 (+30–40% shares). The price could fall 50–70%.

Business
Is the company getting stronger, not just bigger? · 3 findings−22 of −30
- −12MarginNo revenue; operating result −C$12.1m and net result −C$10.3m TTM, because exploration is expensed (operating cash flow −C$12.0m).
- −8Resource and studiesNo NI 43-101 resource and no studies; first resource estimate is planned for Q1 2027. Best results are strong (Creek: 81.0 m at 4.80 g/t gold, of which 34.0 m at 9.07 g/t; Finn: 17.0 m at 2.31 g/t gold and 113 g/t silver), but the size of the deposit is unknown, and assays from 55 holes from 2026 are pending.
- −2Capital allocationCapital is raised cheaply: ordinary shares at C$0.10 in both December 2025 (part of up to C$11.5m) and August 2026 – below today's price of C$0.14 – and the proceeds are spread over three projects (JD, Theory, Buck).
Price
Today's multiples against the company's own history and its peers. · 1 finding−6 of −35
- −6Valuation vs historyP/B 4.24 vs 2.64–6.10 in FY2023–25, and the market value has risen from CAD 8m (Nov. 2024) to 49m, while the share price is −26% in a year – the rise in value is driven by share issuance, not price. EV approx. CAD 39m for a project without a resource.
Cracks
Cash flow, customers, debt, insiders, guidance and what sits behind the headline numbers. · 4 findings−22 of −35
- −12DilutionThe share count has risen 232% over a year (to 351.8m shares) and 9.6% in the latest quarter. The August placement issued a further 30.7m shares (20.7m charity flow-through at C$0.145 and 10m ordinary at C$0.10) plus 1.1m finder warrants.
- −4Burn and next financingCash of C$10.5m at 31/5-2026 before the summer drilling; with C$4m from August and over 16,000 m of drilling (60% more than planned), the cash has probably halved by the end of the financial year. The next drilling season 2027 requires a new placement, presumably in H1 2027.
- −4Exploration and placement riskThe value rests on the assays from 55 holes and the resource estimate in Q1 2027 confirming a large enough deposit in a remote district with a short season and limited infrastructure.
- −2Low insider ownershipInsiders own only approx. 1.8% and institutions approx. 4.7% after the heavy dilution.
Plus
Only documented strengths. · 2 findings+2 of +15
- +1Debt-free and funded seasonNo debt and net cash of C$10.5m at 31/5-2026; the 2026 programme was fully funded and was expanded with an oversubscribed placement.
- +1Institutional backingThe placement in December 2025 was upsized from 7 to 11.5m C$ due to demand from 'high quality institutional and mining focused investors'.
