Bull case

The assay results from Nova confirm high-grade uranium over several metres, and the winter drilling shows the discovery growing along the 1 km long contact. With a market cap of only C$23m, a real Athabasca discovery could lift the company to C$70–150m, i.e. 3–6x – but Purepoint owns only 50% of Nova.

Bear case

The assays disappoint, and C$3–5m has to be raised at C$0.15–0.20 (+20–30% shares) to keep the company running. With repeated small issues and very low liquidity, the price could halve again.

Catalysts

  1. 27 Nov 2026Q3 report (estimated date) – cash and financing needgradual stockanalysis.com
  2. Q4 2026Assay results from the 2026 summer programme at Nova (hole NV26-11: 5.6 m continuous radioactivity, peak 53,300 cps; laboratory results awaited)binary resourceworld.com
  3. Winter 2027JV budget and winter drilling at Dorado with IsoEnergy as well as partner-funded programs with Cameco and Oranogradual cruxinvestor.com
Risk of going to zeromedium to high – only approx. 6 months of cash and very low liquidity, but partner-funded JVs mean the assets retain some value.
Next financingCash of C$2.21m at 30/6-2026 plus C$1.0m from the flow-through placement in August gives approx. C$3.2m pro forma. With spending of approx. C$1.7m per quarter (average of the last four), money must be raised in Q4 2026 or Q1 2027 – before the winter drilling at Dorado – probably via flow-through with warrants.
Warrants & convertiblesNo convertibles found. The flow-through placement 27/8-2026: 2.65m units at C$0.38, each with a warrant at C$0.50 expiring August 2027. Other warrants from earlier issues and options are not quantified.
Insiders, last 12 monthsNo purchases or sales found (not systematically checked). Insiders own only c. 1.6% (stockanalysis).
Largest ownersNot examined in detail. Institutions c. 5.9%, insiders c. 1.6% (stockanalysis) – a very dispersed, retail-dominated shareholder base.
Circio check(1) Small market cap: yes – approx. DKK 107m. (2) Hot theme: yes – Athabasca uranium. (3) Upcoming milestones: yes – assays from Nova in Q4 2026. (4) Major partner: yes – Cameco, Orano and IsoEnergy as JV partners, but at project level. (5) Funding for 2+ years: no – approx. 6 months. (6) Price near the bottom: yes – −52% in a year, RSI 24.5.
Why this asymmetryLow market cap and strong partners give lottery-ticket upside on Nova. But the company owns only 50%, has about 6 months of cash, the share count is +34% over a year, and liquidity is thin. The dilution will probably take most of any gain.

Business

Is the company getting stronger, not just bigger? · 3 findings
−27 of −30
  • Margin
No revenue. The operating result is −C$8.4m TTM (−6.3m in 2025, −4.9m in 2024), and FCF is −C$6.9m TTM. Equity is only C$2.3m (ROE −461%, not counted again).
    −12
  • Resource and studies
No NI 43-101 resource and no studies, and only minority interests in the best projects. The best intercept at Nova is 8.1% U3O8 over 0.4 m within 2.1 m at 1.6% – narrow and early in the process, although the structure is open in all directions.
    −11
  • Capital allocation
Share-based pay of about C$3.1m over the past three quarters – almost half of the company's cash burn – in a company worth C$23m.
    −4

Price

−6 of −35
  • Valuation vs history
The market cap of approx. C$23m (EV approx. 21m) is in the middle of the 2021–25 range (C$13–35m), even though the share count has risen sharply. Without a resource there is nothing to measure EV against, and a P/B of 10 is meaningless.

Cracks

Cash flow, customers, debt, insiders, guidance and what sits behind the headline numbers. · 3 findings
−23 of −35
  • Funding
Cash was C$2.21m at 30/6-2026 plus C$1.0m from the flow-through placement on 27/8-2026 vs spending of about C$1.7m per quarter. That gives about 6 months of runway, so money must be raised before the 2027 winter program. That the placement was only C$1m shows weak demand.
    −10
  • Dilution
The share count has risen 33.7% over a year (from about 60m in 2025 to 82m). The August placement gave one warrant per share (C$0.50, 12 months). With a price of C$0.28, the next round of C$3–5m will require about 11–18m new shares (+13–22%).
    −8
  • Sentiment and liquidity
The stock is −52% over 52 weeks (RSI 24.5) and trades below the 50- and 200-day averages (C$0.34 and 0.42). Turnover is only about 64,000 shares a day (about DKK 84,000), so it is hard to get out again.
    −5

Plus

Only documented strengths. · 2 findings
+3 of +15
  • Large partners
Cameco and Orano together own 79% of Hook Lake (on the Patterson Lake trend) with Purepoint as operator, and Cameco is a partner on Smart Lake. The partners bear most of the cost on those projects.
    +2
  • JV partner at Dorado
IsoEnergy owns 50% of Dorado and approved a 2026 program of 17 holes and 7,450 m to extend the Nova discovery.
    +1

Caveats

What the score does not capture, or where the data is weak.
Penny analysis (Under 3 kr). Micro-cap exploration company (prospect generator) in the Athabasca Basin with no revenue, resource or studies. Holds minority interests in JVs with Cameco and Orano (Hook Lake 21%, Smart Lake 27%) and 50% of Dorado with IsoEnergy (the Nova discovery). Latest financial statements as of 30/6-2026; the 1.0m C$ flow-through placement in August has been added to cash. How large a share of the Dorado budget Purepoint itself pays is not documented (presumably 50%). The assay results from this summer's Nova holes have not been published. Warrants and options beyond the August placement, insider trades and largest shareholders have not been examined in detail. P/B (10x) is meaningless because exploration is expensed. Compared with CanAlaska (cash approx. 29m C$) and F3 (resource), Purepoint is the weakest financially: approx. 6 months of cash.
