Business

Is the company getting stronger, not just bigger? · 3 findings
−18 of −30
  • Margin
No revenue; net loss −2.6m CAD and FCF −6.5m TTM. Low burn, but no earnings in sight before a production decision that is many years away. The loss is counted only here.
    −8
  • Project quality and studies
The public resource dates from 2019: 250 Mt indicated at 0.48% Cu, 0.29 g/t Au and 7.5 g/t Ag, plus 267 Mt inferred at 0.41% Cu. It is a large, low-grade deposit with no PEA or PFS, and the best development case requires integration with its neighbour Coimolache, whose results may not be published without joint consent.
    −8
  • Capital allocation
Low dilution (+0.7% in a year) and sensible royalty agreements with Osisko, but cash has been drained to CAD 3.55m with no financing plan published.
    −2

Price

Today's multiples against the company's own history and its peers. · 1 finding
−8 of −35
  • Price versus peers and resource
EV about CAD 621m corresponds to about CAD 0.12 (USD 0.09) per pound of copper in the public resource (about 5.1bn lb) with no studies. Los Andes Copper, which has a PFS on Vizcachitas, has an EV of CAD 371m. P/B 9.2, and the share price is up 91% in a year.
    −8

Cracks

Cash flow, customers, debt, insiders, guidance and what sits behind the headline numbers. · 5 findings
−19 of −35
  • Liquidity and funding
Cash 3.55m CAD as of 30 Jun 2026 with a burn of approx. 2.6m per quarter (Q3 FY26), i.e. only approx. four months of runway. No offering has been announced through 11 Oct 2026, so a new offering or other financing is imminent.
    −5
  • Dependence on Coimolache
The PEA is only an option that requires a joint decision with Coimolache. Regulus cannot give a timeline and will not update the market until a decision has been made, and the CEO does not expect the resource report to be published.
    −6
  • Permits and local communities
The company is still working to obtain permits from the Tingo community and the authorities for more drilling on the Gold Fields claims, and the resource estimate was delayed by disagreement over geology and classification. Cajamarca is a region with significant social risk for large mines.
    −5
  • Low liquidity in the stock
Average turnover is approx. 37,000 shares a day (approx. 0.18m CAD), and free float is 84.5m of 125.7m shares.
    −2
  • Governance
Shareholder rights plan (poison pill) adopted on 30 Mar 2026, which can make a takeover bid more expensive for a buyer building a stake above 20%.
    −1

Plus

Only documented strengths. · 2 findings
+4 of +15
  • Strategic owners and partners
Route One (about 22%) and Nuton/Rio Tinto (about 16%) became major shareholders in 2023, Nuton is testing bioleaching at AntaKori, and Osisko has paid USD 12.5m (2020) and USD 5m (2022) for royalties, so total royalties are capped at 1.5%.
    +3
  • Resource potential
The mineralisation is open in most directions, and 31,667 m have been drilled since the 2019 resource.
    +1

Caveats

What the score does not capture, or where the data is weak.
Penny deep dive (the price of DKK 23.07 is above DKK 3). Copper-gold explorer with the AntaKori project in Cajamarca, Peru, next to Coimolache's Tantahuatay mine (Buenaventura/Southern Copper). A price of CAD 4.97 and 125.68m shares (stockanalysis 10/10-2026) give a market cap of about CAD 625m; Nordnet showed DKK 2,842m. The fiscal year runs from October to September, so the latest figures are at 30/6-2026 (cash only CAD 3.55m). No offering has been found in 2026 (the news list ends 3/7-2026), so money must have been raised or an offering is imminent. The only public resource is from 2019 (AntaKori claims only); the integrated resource from June 2026 has not been published and may never be. No PEA, PFS or FS. Short data does not exist for TSXV.
